GPhC announces results for June 2025 registration assessment

A total of 2,913 candidates sat the registration assessment on 23 June, with 2,247 candidates passing the assessment: an overall pass rate of 77%

The results of the common registration assessment for pharmacists, held jointly by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI), have been published.

Duncan Rudkin, Chief Executive of the GPhC, said:

“I’d like to congratulate all those candidates who have passed the registration assessment after sitting this summer.

“The registration assessment is a vital part of the journey to becoming a registered pharmacist and it provides evidence and reassurance that successful candidates will be able to apply their knowledge appropriately and are able to make professional judgments when practising.

“The overall pass rate is testament to the hard work that has been put in, and I wish those registering with us every success in their careers as valuable members of the future healthcare workforce.

“For those who unfortunately didn’t pass the assessment, there are a range of options available, with all the relevant information on the June 2025 registration assessment page.”
